Isobel Rooney, was a member of the Community School Board (CSB) 10 from 1970 until May 1996 when she retired, and the CSB's first president.
Although Isobel Rooney was never blessed with children of her own she dedicated her adult life to the children of others. She labored for quality education for all the children in our area of Norwood.
Isobel Rooney always strived to bring about positive change and supported those who shared these goals.
We at Middle School 80 will remeber her for always being there for the children, and for her service in this community.
