MISSION STATEMENT

•         Isobel Rooney's Middle School mission is to provide an environment where student and staff may experience, learn, grow and strive to come closer to their potential. We recognize this requires the use of instructional techniques and processes which capitalize on the unique developmental characteristics and individual needs of early adolescents. These include:

• • interdisciplinary units
  • cooperative learning
  • alternative assessments
  • the integration of technology across the curriculum
  • enhanced guidance services for all students.

  It is our goal to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment which fosters productive intellectual and emotional growth for all our students (Billingual, LEP, General and Special Ed) and embodies mutual respect and responsibility.
